It was a gorgeous morning coming into work today.
I took a slightly different route than usual, and so I was on a stretch of road that allowed me to see the sun peeping over the edge of the horizon like a panoramic postcard.
The rest of the ride was filled with similarly gorgeous sights, as the golden rays lit up the orange, russet, and yellow leaves of the trees across the field…
I love the dark line, showing that the sun hasn’t quite gotten high enough to clear the edge of the hill and beam its light on the entire vista.
And then as I pulled into the school’s parking lot, I was greeted with even more beauty. These trees and the playing field are also visible from my classroom windows, up on the third floor of the building.
Today was one of those days reminding me how blessed I am to live where I do.
Have a great Friday, everyone!
Well, at least you don’t need 4 wheel drive to navigate through fallen leaves.

WOW! Susch beautiful sights. Fall is the best season for colours. I like it better than summer 🙂

Me, too. Mostly also because I’m a “cool weather” person as opposed to a “hot weather” one. I do love the flowers of summer, but I’ll take the leaves of autumn as first pick. 🙂

You are indeed blessed Mary with scenery and colors like that … A mighty reflection of all of GOD’s goodness in our lives.
