Yes…me too. I like this saying though because it reminds me to keep my spirit soft. To try not to be cynical. I have learned to toughen up on the outside (sometimes) but I need to stop myself from letting the hurts along the way make me brittle on the inside. However, being taken advantage of is always a risk for me, for sure.
