This is the view outside my kitchen window tonight.
I love winter snow; it’s so fresh and sparkling. I love to feel the flakes melt against my cheeks when I take our English Shepherd, Cassie, outside for a little walk around the house.
It definitely puts me in a December mood.
Sleigh bells ring….are you listening? 🙂
What a beautiful sentiment. I’m looking out my window right now and, it looks like we’re going to get some flakes of our own. As much as I bitch about the cold, wet, windy winter, it is kind of nice to see snow on the ground, brisk, quiet, peaceful. 🙂

It does freshen thing up, doesn’t it? It’s like a glittering blanket making everything pretty. I’ll be tired of snow by Februrary, when it gets gray, but I appreciate its luster now.

It looks nice but not any fun if you get stuck in it and have to shovel!

Yes, getting stuck is no fun. Sand under the tires can help. I’ve lived my whole life in Upstate NY with lots of snow in winter, and I do shovel pretty regularly…and I actually like to use to the snow blower. 🙂 My husband likes to do it when he’s home, but when he’s traveling for work, I get out there and have a ball.
